A collaboration of 10 Dresden and Ohioan artists, the project was developed by Kristen as a means to invigorate ties and enlivened friendships between artists from both cities.The exhibition was originally curated in 2015 as Across the Pond- Uber den Teich, [Arbeiten von Künstlern aus Columbus/Ohio und Dresden] and was displayed in the New Town Hall, Aussstellung Gallery in Dresden.Across the Pond displays works on paper where the artist’s hand is defined by particular visions and techniques including drawing, collage, painting and contemporary printmaking.The exhibition provides groundwork to aid in communication “across the pond”. In a world of hyper-interconnectedness, it is in a central space that the body of work from across the pond is exchanged to enter a communicative space visually.  City Center Gallery Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures germanic@osu.edu America/New_York public
