GLL Welcomes New Graduate Students
Germanic Languages and Literatures is delighted to welcome seven new graduate students this autumn.
Three of them come from Germany, two from the TU-Dresden (Birte Pietsch and Linh Vu), one from the FU-Berlin (Gina Wrobel). These students will be with the program for only a short-term basis.
The remaining new students come from a variety of institutions. Stephanie Walford, who has a B.A. from the University of Nottingham in German and Dutch will be joining us this fall. Megan Crawford graduated from Washington & Jefferson College with a B.A. in German. Madelyn Kindig comes to us from Indiana University with a B.A. in Germanic Studies. And one new student is from an Ohio school: Franklin Baldwin has a BA from Ohio University in German and History.
The varied interests and excellent academic backgrounds of the new cohort provide a good indication of the vibrancy and diversity in our program.
