GLL students had great success on the job market this year.

Sylvia Fischer, who will be defending her dissertation this year, received a position at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, and will begin teaching there this fall. Amber Suggitt will again be engaged at Northern Michigan University this coming year. And Alex Holznienkemper, who defended his dissertation last fall, will be a visiting assistant professor at the University of Notre Dame. Berit Jany, who defended in 2013 and served as the departmental GTA Coordinator and Undergraduate Language Director this past year, has accepted an appointment at the University of Colorado in Boulder.
