Malkmus receives IFK Fellowship

Bernhard Malkmus was awarded a fellowship at the Internationales Forschungszentrum Kulturwissenschaften in Vienna (IFK) for winter semester 2014-5. He will be working and lecturing on the research topic "Man in the Anthropocene: Travel-Writing, the Order of Nature, and the Disorder of Ecology."

The IFK in Vienna is affiliated with the Kunstuniversität Linz and fosters interdisciplinary exchange across the humanities and social sciences. The center offers a platform for scholars to share research on social imaginaries and theories of culture among each other and with the public.
