Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

A warm congratulations to Professors Carmen Taleghani-Nikazm (Germanic), Glenn Martinez (SPPO and the CLLC), and Wynne Wong (FRIT) for winning a $17,980 Larger Grant from the College of Arts & Sciences to support the Second Language Research Forum, which will be held at Ohio State in the autumn of 2017.

Congratulations also to our graduate students Kathrin Frenzel (German), Hope Wilson (Slavic), and Laurène Glimois and Stephanie Garvelink (FRIT)  for their proposal, which won the bid to bring the conference to campus. This is very exciting for GLL and for all of our language departments.
