German majors and minors awarded Fulbright Grants

Congratulations to our German majors and minors who have been awarded U.S. Student Fulbright Grants to teach English in Germany during the 2020-2021 academic year!

  • Elena Akers: International Affairs scholar and double major in German and international studies.
  • Kathleen Greer: International Affairs scholar, President of the Undergraduate Student Government and double major in German and history.
  • McKenzie Hartman: International Affairs scholar and double major in international studies and economics with minors in German and Spanish.
  • Young Na: Honors German major with a minor in linguistics.
  • Sarah Stradling: Honors triple major in German, international studies, and history with a minor in philosophy.
  • Megan Wadas: Honors German major with minors in linguistics and media in society.

The Fulbright program offers grants to over 140 countries, and each country notifies recipients on their own timeline.

Undergraduates who will earn their bachelor's degree by summer 2021 and graduate students are eligible to apply for the next cycle of U.S. Student Fulbright grants.
