Grubb receives GATA (Graduate Associate Teaching Award) in 2025

GATA 2025 in Germanic LL at Ohio State
Haley Grubb wins GATA-2025 at Ohio State

Students and faculty congratulate Haley Grubb on receiving the GATA, Ohio State's highest recognition of the exceptional teaching provided by graduate students serving as Graduate Teaching Associates.

The GATA selection committee reviews GTA portfolios to evaluate each nominee's ability to facilitate student learning and to evaluate and improve their own teaching.

Haley's portfolio is genuinely stellar. She has been tapped for this prestigious award and so joins a select group of Graduate Teaching Associates here at Ohio State. From the approximately 3,000 graduate students who serve as GTAs each year, less than two dozen are recognized for their dedication to teaching with a GATA.

Well done, Haley! We here in GLL and all of your German language students salute and appreciate you!

This is the third year in a row that a GTA in the department of Germanic Languages & Literatures has received this honor!!!
