Richards receives Grant
Dr. Kevin Richards received the 2017 Lecturer Teaching Development Grant award as part of an initiative spearheaded by the University Center for the Advancement of Teaching (UCAT). The grant offers support to lecturers who want to continue to develop themselves professionally by engaging in current research, attending conferences and otherwise contributing to raising the profile of their department.
Kevin will be using the grant to attend the 2018 German Studies Association (GSA) annual conference in Pittsburgh, PA this September. In particular, he is looking forward to visiting a variety of panels that will further inform the courses he teaches and delve into topics in which his research is concerned. In addition to this, the conference should provide many lively intellectual, cultural and literary discussions with and exposure to the leading researchers, writers and educators in the field.
Congratulations Kevin!
