Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Umwelt Center at the GSA: Roundtable

The Umwelt Center and the Environmental Studies Network co-hosted a Roundtable on "State of the Weather, State of the World: Environmental Studies at the GSA". After presenters Nicole Thesz (Miami University), Sabine von Mehring (Brandeis University), Katharina Gerstenberger (University of Utah), and Marcel Foerster (Ohio State University) shared position papers on Environmental Studies in their teaching, research, and practice in German Studies, Katra Byram (Ohio State University) moderated an open conversation between panelists and audience members. We thank all participants and audience members as well as Nicole Thesz, Kristin Poling (University of Michigan-Dearborn) and Lisa Höller (Washington State University) for sponsoring and co-organizing this event through the Environmental Studies Network at the GSA.
