Professor Robert Pippin will give a lecture entitled:

"Hegel and the Political Significance of Collective Self-Deceit"

Pippin is the Evelyn Stefansson Nef Distinguished Service Professor in the Committee on Social Thought, the Department of Philosophy, and the College at the University of Chicago.

 

In addition, a seminar will take place at 3:30pm Friday, January 20: “Hegel on Life as a Logical Category,” in University Hall 347, followed by discussion and a reception in the Philosophy Department.
