Dresden Summer Language Program German Blog

OHIO in Dresden 2015

The Dresden Summer Language Program study abroad is now in full swing with students currently blogging about their experience.

These 25 Buckeyes abroad are on an eight-week, intensive program at the Technishe Universität Dresden. The program provides beginner and intermediate German language students with the opportunity to increase their fluency, study the history of Dresden and experience modern Germany. This study abroad offers classroom instruction, field trip experiences and free time for students to do their own exploration.

Through the Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures’ 2015 blog the students post, in both German and English, as a means to reflect on their experiences, as well as reveal their progression of language fluency.

Kalman Roemer, a junior studying mathematics, blogged about his experiences on a field trip to the historic city of Weimar.
