Foerster receives GATA (Graduate Associate Teaching Award)

GATA award at Ohio State

Students and faculty congratulate Marcel Foerster on receiving the GATA, Ohio State's highest recognition of the exceptional teaching provided by graduate students serving as Graduate Teaching Associates. The GATA selection committee reviews GTA portfolios to evaluate each nominee's ability to facilitate student learning and to evaluate and improve their own teaching.

Marcel is GLL's second GATA recipient in as many years! His portfolio is genuinely impressive. This year, he has been tapped for this prestigious award, joining a select group of Graduate Teaching Associates here at Ohio State. From the approximately 3,000 graduate students who serve as GTAs each year, less than two dozen are recognized for their dedication to teaching with a GATA.

Well done, Marcel! Each one of your German language students and everybody in GLL appreciate you!
