The newest volume in the Anna Seghers Werkausgabe series has been published. We congratulate Professor Emerita Helen Fehervary on this latest release.  

This is the 14^th volume to appear within the text-critical, commentated edition of Anna Seghers's collected works, published by Aufbau-Verlag, Berlin, and of which Professor Helen Fehervary has been general editor since the year 2000. She is also the volume editor of this particular novel, Die Gefährten, with assistance from Jennifer William, currently Professor of German and Associate Head of the School of Languages and Cultures at Purdue University, who was studying in the GLL doctoral program when collaborative work on this volume began.
