The Office of Distance Education has selected Dr. Kevin Richards to interview about his experiences with encouraging student engagement in online courses, innovations in assignments and assessments, and integrations of emerging technologies including Virtual Reality and AI, as well as his vision for the future of distance learning.

He has recently taught the GE courses The Grimms Fairy Tales and their Afterlives (Foundation: Literary), German Science Fiction (Foundation: Literary), The Holocaust in Literature and Film (Theme: Citizenship), and Hollywood: Exiles and Emigres (Foundation: Literary). He is currently developing the GE course Citizenship in the Age of Technology (Theme: Citizenship).
