Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. Study Abroad Information Sessions Attract Record Numbers

If early numbers are an indication, Germanic Languages and Literatures could be in for a bumper year for study abroad. The addition of the May Session Berlin Program and the continued vigor of both the Dresden Summer Language Program and the Goethe Institut Program look like translating into the Department sending a record number of students to Germany during summer 2015.

While deadlines for application are not until January and February, attendance at information sessions for all three programs exceeded expectations and enquiries continue to pour in. All students interested in participating in summer ‘15’s programs are encouraged to contact Carmen Taleghani-Nikazm or May Mergenthaler for Berlin, and Andy Spencer for the language programs.
