Welcoming our new graduate students

Blume

This autumn, the Department is delighted to welcome our new graduate students.

Our two students from the Technische Universität Dresden, Theresa Bauer and Georg Langner, both hold Bachelor's degrees in Education and are currently pursuing Master's degrees. They will be here at Ohio State for one year.

Dennis Schaefer comes to us from the University of Cologne, where he majored in English and German Studies. Dennis has also spent time in the UK, at the University of Warwick.

All of them will be teaching German 1101.01 this autumn semester in addition to engaging in graduate work. The varied interests and excellent academic backgrounds of the new cohort provide a good indication of the vibrancy and diversity in our program.
